They may include many activities of daily living that the indivisual or patient has difficulty performing on his or her own, such as bathing, toileting and eating. CNA must also be able to help the individual with daily tasks while allowing for the patient to do as much as possible independently. A large part of the personal-care includes providing emotional support to patients and their familiesand indivisual. CNA are responsible for taking patients' vital signs. In a nursing home or hospital CNAs mainly take vital signs during rounds on a regular basis, and record them in the patient's medical records. CNA training courses teach techniques for checking blood pressure with both automatic pressure-reading machines and the older "Sphygmomanometer" and "Stethoscope". CNAs perform duties such as changing patients' bed linens, or cleaning up after feeding the patients or other activities. Nursing assistant is responsible for insuring that the patient's area and the patient his/her is kept clean. CNAs are also trained in the proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials such as bodily fluids. Basic Nurse Assistant Training Certificate

Some states require nurse assistants to be certified no matter where the work they work. They are also required for certain positions in nursing assistant.They can complete there certified nursing assistant training in a short period of time. In addition to a high school diploma or GED, they will need to complete a 6-to-12 week (CNA Certificate program) at a community college or medical facility.
The class room instructions to get the certification is Basic nursing skills, Anatomy and physiology, Nutrition, and Infection control.The different courses are taught either by Registered Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses.they will learn a lot of different skills and gain a lot of knowledge during the course of the training. There is also a minimum 75 hours of clinical training, it is also known as "Clinical Externship". They also have to be able to get the patient’s vital signs, they include; heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.The main job of a Certified Nursing Assistant is to perform basic nursing procedures under the administration of a Registered Nurse.Those who fulfill these requirements are then certified.

Communication skills are required for a nurse assistant to have, Science courses, such as biology and anatomy, mad family and consumer science, and health. Nursing Assistant students must meet the physical requirements of the clinical agency. It is the student's responsibility to inform the instructor if a potential problem exists in meeting requirements. Also have a good drug and school background check use great grammar and know how to work one on one with an individual. Making yourself look persentable in public and knowing how to start and continue a conversation.

What I want to know about my topic
As I begin my search, I have many questions, and I am sure more will develop during this process. Right now, my overarching question is "what do I need to know about the nursing assistance process?" To find answers to this broad inquiry, I will look for answers to more specific questions, such as

The story behind my topic choice
I chose my career on being a nursing assistance because I have always wanted to become one since I was a young girl. I have always had a passion for helping the elderly and the young and to become a successful nursing assistance in the future. This would be a good a good career for me because I am a very patient, calm, and caring person. Most nursing assistance have to have that to become a great nursing assistance and I think I have the ability to achieve my career.
